I'll show you how to make a marble inlay cutting board that's perfect for a cheese tray or charcuterie board! Give the gift that keeps on giving.

Grab some wood, (I used walnut) a marble tile, a few tools and other supplies, and some mineral oil to make your own.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Choose the right wood! Walnut or maple are great choices.

Cut the marble inlay to your desired size.

Cut the board to size.  (Tip: score the board with a utility knife before cutting for a smoother cut.)

Round the edges of the board to keep them from chipping later on.

Cut a groove for the marble inlay.

Sand and prep the wood surface. Mineral oil protects the wood to be used as a cutting surface.

Add the marble inlay with food safe silicone adhesive.

Apply a food safe finish with a few more layers of mineral oil.

Use at home or give as a gift, but this beautiful cutting board will be all the rage!
